Recording, mixing, and mastering services helping metal bands achieve that raw and aggressive sound.
I capture sounds that are as close to mix ready as possible using high end analog gear and microphones.
I take your DIY or professionally recorded tracks and blend them to get a cohesive mix that will stand out amongst the competition.
After your track is mixed, I give it the polish it needs to blend in with the rest of your tracks in your album as well as translate in any listening environment.
You just can't get the sound you want when you do it yourself.
Your songs don't hit hard enough.
Your mixes lack character and vibe.
Your mixes sound like mud instead of melting faces.
You've got some great new material but It sounds weak.

“When I was trying to figure out who
would be the best person to work with for a stoner/doom/black/folk
metal project I was doing Cisco appeared out of
thin air and offered us a sample of what he could do with our music.
Not only was his sample sufficient – it was nearly perfect! And he
brought many great ideas to the table that helped us capture a sound
that I had previously thought wasn’t possible.”
- Travis

"Cisco told me my blast beats weren't loud enough then told me I was crazy when I said the snare needs to be louder. "
- Aaron

"Cisco did an outstanding job mixing and mastering two songs for us. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and really took the time to understand what we wanted from the recordings. While pushing us to perform at our best."
- Bobby

I know the frustration of not having your band’s sound hit as hard as you want it to.
I’ve been working in music production for over 25 years across multiple genres most notably in the heavier metal genres such as doom/sludge, black metal and others.
Getting those low chugs, thunderous drums and bass to hit hard out of the speakers is important in these genres and I work hard to make sure that happens.

Depends on how many songs, length, and scope.
But generally it is 2-3 weeks for a full album. And 2-3 days for a single.
All of these do not include revisions as that can often delay the process.
Sometimes artists need to let it marinate for a few days before full approval.
I charge per project basis. For example, one price for a single or an album.
Mixing is an art and there is a lot that goes into making each instrument fit into a mix perfectly.
Mixing also depends on how the tracks were recorded.
A lot of the sounds you hear in awesome mixes were recorded that way at the recording stage.
Every song has a vibe and as a mixer I try to bring that out as best as I can.
I use high end analog gear as part of my workflow and can be the difference between a mediocre mix and one that feels glued with tons of character.
Yes. I specialize in heavy music — not “a bit of everything.”
Metal production is different.
Tight low end, aggressive drums, controlled chaos, clarity without sterilizing the performance.
I understand the difference between black metal atmosphere, doom/sludge metal weight, hardcore punch, and modern metal precision — and I approach each project accordingly.
I don’t do overproduced metal with drums that sound like a machine.
I like to keep it as real with as much raw power as possible.
I usually do 3 revisions for mixing.
And 2 revisions for mastering.
These are not hard rules.
Sometimes we might need one small thing changed. In these cases I have no problem getting that done.
But everything within reason of course. If you can’t make a decision then that’s on YOU. Be bold!
I aim to be in the ballpark within the first draft.
I don’t expect to hit a homerun every time and I understand there are always some changes that need to be made.
Yes. I also work with alt/rock/emo and punk/pop punk genres as well.
These genres command a high energy sound which I’m into.
I don’t do country or rap/hip-hop. Not my gig.
Most of the bands I work with are self-funded.
Production isn’t about making you sound “expensive.” It’s about making your music compete.
A powerful mix helps you:
-Stand out on streaming platforms
-Get taken seriously by promoters
-Translate live energy into recorded impact
-If budget is a concern, we can scope the project realistically instead of cutting corners that hurt the final result.
My first step is to listen to what you have. Part of this is to see if we are a good fit and also to see if I can really work with what you give me.
Recording is revealing — especially in metal.
If something needs tightening, I’ll tell you honestly before we waste your budget. Pre-production and performance prep can make or break a heavy release.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s power and confidence.
